Lindsay wears many hats: co-owner of Mountainview Turf and Gemma Property Services, wife to Ryan, mom to Sam and Laney, and the driving force behind one of the Pontiac’s most vibrant small businesses. Since opening in spring 2022, Homegrown has become the go-to destination for seedlings, annuals, perennials, hanging baskets, and everything you need to get your garden off to a beautiful start.
With years of hands-on experience, Lindsay makes gardening feel accessible and joyful. She teaches through example, whether she’s leading a planting demo, sharing tips on social media, or answering questions in the greenhouse aisle. She believes everyone has a green thumb, it just takes the right support to uncover it.
Her children, Sam and Laney, are actively involved, helping set up the centre each spring and keeping things running through the season. As Lindsay put it about kids: “They learn best when they feel useful. If you give them a job and trust them with it, they rise to the challenge.”
