Caretaker & Cook wanted for a Fish & Game Club 25 km north of Otter Lake
Job Description
– responsible for the ongoing care, maintenance, and running of the club.
– yard work – cutting grass
– general upkeep
– cleaning
– cooking and serving meals
– obtaining food and supplies weekly.
Work Schedule:
The Caretaker & Cook (couple or single person) arrive on Thursday afternoon and finish on Monday morning. The season begins at the start of May and ends in mid-September.
The days of the workweek include being at the club to serve dinner on Thursday night, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday until noon.
Meal times are as follows:
– Breakfast 7:00 am to 9:00 am
– Lunch 11:30 to 1:30 pm
– Dinner 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm.
Qualifications
– previous camp experience preferred but not required
– mechanically inclined
– self-starters
– dependable
– Bilingual or English-speaking
Salary & Benefits
A competitive wage will be paid bi-weekly throughout the fishing season.
– A 2 bedroom cottage is provided. Staying on days off is acceptable.
– Food during the work week is provided
– Members tend to be generous with tips
– fishing is available when duties are complete
