Martin Perras Takes the Helm at Pontiac’s Transfer Station

Martin Perras, a well-known Ottawa-area acupuncturist and entrepreneur, is stepping into waste management with the acquisition of  McGrimmon Cartage.  Serving Pontiac since 2019, McGrimmon is now on the path to a bold new chapter as Crush Waste Management—driven by Perras’s vision to redefine community sustainability and growth.

But he’s not stopping there. Perras also secured Town & Country Forming, a trusted concrete division of McGrimmon serving Quebec and Ontario, reinforcing his commitment to infrastructure and community growth. With plans to bid on the upcoming MRC Pontiac recycling contract and explore innovative, sustainable solutions like composting facilities, Perras is set to crush old limits and build a greener, more resilient region.

Transitioning from healthcare to construction, his vision is driven by teamwork, large-scale projects, and meaningful change. Backed by his wife Emilie and their three children, Perras is ready to infuse fresh ideas, prioritize quality, and foster sustainability—ensuring everyone in Pontiac benefits from this bold new chapter.
